White Ribbon Day

Dear All

As many of you will know, on Wednesday 25th November, it is White Ribbon Day and the International Day to End Violence Against Women, and from then until Human Rights Day on 10th December, there are traditionally 16 days of action to end violence against women.

Here are some things that you can do on White Ribbon Day and over the 16 days of action:
–          Consider making The White Ribbon Pledge and encouraging others to do the same.
–          Put up the poster we have attached here or send to your contact lists, highlighting Domestic Abuse in Lockdown and the Enfield Domestic Abuse Hub free phone number – 0800 923 9009.
–          Make sure that your team all know about the Domestic Abuse Hub which was launched earlier this year – though this doesn’t replace a Safeguarding referral, this is a valuable resource that anyone can call to get advice and support.
