Vacancies at Bishop Stopford’s School

Due to ongoing improvements in the school and an increase in student numbers, we have a number of job opportunities available for 2022.

We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England School in Enfield, North London within easy access of the M25.  The School operates a pastoral House System and has a strong Christian ethos which you would also be expected to support. Bishop Stopford’s Church of England School is seeking to appoint an innovative Teaching Assistant with a passion for teaching and learning to join our highly motivated staff.  We are committed to providing the highest academic standards which challenge students to achieve their very best whilst ensuring a school ethos that is caring and positive. This role will assist in the support of children with identified SEND.  It involves working as part of a team of teachers and support staff and focuses on supporting differentiated learning and the delivery of educational programmes for our students with SEND/EHC plans.

This role will assist in the support of children with EAL needs within the classroom.  It involves working as part of a team of teachers and support staff and focuses on providing bespoke support in mainstream lessons.

Fluency in Turkish is desired.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Bishop Stopford’s School for a peripatetic guitar teacher who is proficient in acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass guitar. We are looking to appoint on a relief contract a well-qualified, experienced, committed, motivated, organised and enthusiastic colleague to deliver instrumental music lessons to individual students and small groups within school.
