Vacancies at Bishop Stopford’s School

Due to ongoing improvements in the school and an increase in student numbers, we have a number of job opportunities available for 2023.

We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England School in Enfield, North London within easy access of the M25.  The School operates a pastoral House System and has a strong Christian ethos which you would also be expected to support. Relief Examination Invigilators Required at Bishop Stopford’s School

We are seeking to appoint Examination Invigilators for Public and internal examinations for Years 10 –13 to be available on a relief basis as required. Exams will be held in the School and are held throughout the year (November, January, February, May, June and July).

To carry out this role you should have good attention to detail and be an excellent time keeper.  Tasks will include preparing the exam room, distributing exam papers and stationery, observing students during the exam ensuring that all regulatory requirements are followed, collecting exam materials and leaving exam rooms tidy.  Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided. Applicants will need to be flexible as the hours of work will be dependent on the exam timetable.

Morning sessions run from approx. 8.00am to 11.00am and afternoon sessions from approx. 12.00pm to 4.00pm.

Salary: Scale 1A point 6 (Hourly rate £12.53 per hour)

Days to be agreed as and when required by Examination Officer
