Due to ongoing improvements in the school and an increase in student numbers, we have a number of job opportunities available for 2021.

We are a Voluntary Aided Church of England School in Enfield, North London within easy access of the M25.  The School operates a pastoral House system and has a strong Christian ethos which you would also be expected to support. JOB TITLE: Worship Team Leader
It is for 5 hours a week. 1 hour per day from 8.30 to 9.30am
Salary –  27 per hour

Bishop Stopford’s Church of England School was graded ‘outstanding’ as a Church of England School in July 2016 and ‘good’ by Ofsted in January 2015. The school sets high aspirations for all pupils and is a rewarding and exciting place to work.

A vacancy has arisen for a Worship Team Leader. The main purpose of the role is to develop, train & equip a student led worship group providing high quality music and worship that feeds into the school collective worship programme. This will mainly involve rehearsing students every morning at 8.30am through a worship set. Teaching them new material that will be used in Eucharist services, Christmas services and other whole school events.
The role will be to provide an efficient and supportive service to the students. To have regard for any national requirements, the school’s ethos, aims and objectives and any policy decisions of the Governing Body.

Examination Invigilators Required at Bishop Stopford’s School

We are looking to recruit Exam Invigilators on a casual basis to participate in conducting internal and external
examinations for our students.

The exams are held in the School and are held throughout the year (November, December, January, February, May,
June and July.

To carry out this role you should have good attention to detail and be an excellent time keeper. Tasks will include
preparing the exam room, distributing exam papers and stationery, observing students during the exam ensuring that
all regulatory requirements are followed, collecting exam materials and leaving exam rooms tidy. Experience is not
necessary as full training will be provided.

Applicants will need to be flexible as the hours of work will be dependent on the exam timetable.
We would welcome applications from people who have good spoken and written English as you may be required to
read or scribe.

Applicants will need to be available during the school day between the hours of 8am – 4pm.
All successful candidates will need to complete a Criminal Record Check which will be done by the School.
Salary: Scale 1a (Hourly rate £12.19 per hour)
Days to be agreed as required by Examination Officer
