Congratulations to our Year 11 Students
We had another fantastic day of celebration yesterday and are so very proud of our Year 11 students and the fantastic achievements that they have made this year. It was wonderful to see our students celebrating with their teachers and planning their next exciting steps into 6th form.
Some of our highlights include:
- Around ¼ of our students achieved grade 7s or above in their examination subjects
- Performance in English, biology, chemistry, physics and engineering was exceptionally strong this year, with students achieving significantly higher grades than other cohorts
- A significantly higher percentage of students achieved a grade 5 or above in both English and maths
- The percentage of students achieving a grade 4 or above in English and maths was in line with the percentage of students nationally achieving this grade
- Significant progress in a whole of range of subjects based on the grades achieved by our students to include English language, English literature, maths, biology, chemistry, physics, history, sociology, sport and engineering
- Significant overall progress of our students
- 100% of students are able to access the next step of their educational journey
We are very happy with this level of success and accomplishment, that truly highlights what can be achieved when you adhere to our school moto to ‘Believe, Strive, Succeed’. We wish all of our Year 11 2025 students continued success for the future and look forward to welcoming so many of you to our 6th form on 3rd September.
