What a fantastic day we have had celebrating the exam successes of our wonderful Year 13 cohort, it was particularly lovely to have so many parents in attendance as well – we know our students’ success has come from our working so closely alongside you throughout their time at the school and that this has contributed massively to their success.

Some of our highlights this year include

• Positive Value added scores in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, ICT and Applied Science – our STEM offer continues to be a strength of our sixth form and is allowing our students to succeed well above what their GCSE results had forecast for them
• High attainment secured in facilitating subjects to include biology, history, English and sociology.  These subjects are highly valued as pathways into university and the workplace, enabling our students to access high quality futures
• An overall Merit grade or above in Engineering, ICT, science and business, providing students with the option to pursue higher education and future career pathways within engineering, computing, medicine and business management
• 100% pass rates in Biology, Chemistry, English Literature, Economics, History, Sociology, Applied Science, ICT and Engineering – as an inclusive sixth form our entry requirements allow students the opportunity to study their chosen subjects and be successful.
• Students have secured places at universities across the country – we will be sending our 2025 Bishop Stopfordian cohort to

• Our students will be going on to study a diverse range of higher education courses  to include English Literature with American Studies, Psychology with Criminology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Global Design Engineering, Paramedic Science, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Criminology and Sociology and Software Engineering
