A Level Results Day 2026

Outstanding Examination Results and Continued Success

We are delighted to celebrate another year of fantastic 6th form examination results, with our students achieving the highest levels of progress seen at the school over the past three years.

Particular congratulations go to students studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Applied Science, Sociology and Information Technology, where outcomes were especially impressive. These results continue a strong trend of success in these subjects and are a testament to the dedication, hard work and commitment shown by both students and staff.

It was a delight to witness the excitement, pride and sense of achievement as students collected their results this morning. We are incredibly proud of every one of them and of the determination they have shown throughout their studies to secure such positive futures.

Our students have achieved exceptionally strong destinations this year. Many will be progressing to universities across the country to study a diverse range of subjects, including Law, Engineering, Politics, Philosophy, and Finance and Accounting. Students have secured places at a number of prestigious institutions, including the University of Bath, SOAS University of London, and City St George's, University of London.

Notably, 25% of students achieved the highest UCAS points outcomes, securing 104 points or more, placing them in a strong position as they take their next steps into higher education and future careers.

We are equally proud of those students who have chosen not to pursue university study and have instead secured apprenticeships in their chosen fields, enabling them to gain valuable experience and qualifications while beginning their careers.

We would like to congratulate all of our students on their achievements and thank our staff, families and wider school community for their support. We wish our leavers every success and happiness as they embark on the next stage of their journeys, and we look forward to hearing about all they achieve in the years ahead.

"Today's results reflect the hard work, resilience and ambition of our students. We are immensely proud of their achievements and delighted to see them all progressing to exciting destinations, whether that be university, apprenticeships or employment. We wish each and every one of them every success for the future."  Mrs Tammy Day, Headteacher
