The service ended with a celebration of light with ‘glow sticks’ to mark the words from John Ch1. ‘Everything that was created received its life from him, and his life gave light to everyone.’

End of term Letter from Headteacher, Mrs T. Day

13Dear Families,

As the term draws to a close, I would like to thank you for your support in all the work the school has done with our students since September. The Year 11 pupils are about to undertake their mock exams and our Year 7s are now very much part of the Stopfordian Family.

This year sees the launch of the School’s first Christmas Fete on the 9th December. This event is being run and organised by our Sixth Form students on behalf of the homeless charity Crisis. Students, parents, family and friends are welcome to attend this event from 3.30pm-7pm. As a result, the inset day planned for Friday, 9th of December, will be moved to Monday, 12th December. The School will therefore be closed to students on this day.
