It is with a very sad heart that I write this email. Liz Kohler a much loved Stopfordian passed away over the Christmas period. Liz dedicated many years to the school and was for 15 years a Deputy Head Teacher here; for 15 months of that time, she was Acting Head Teacher. She retired in August 2014 and worked as a volunteer at Sutton House (National Trust). Over the course of her life Liz volunteered for numerous charities including, Crisis, St Joseph’s Hospice and night-shelters for the homeless.
Liz was a truly remarkable woman, committed to supporting the marginalised and the vulnerable. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
