The Enfield Mayor’s Choral Award 2016

97.jpgCongratulations to the school choir for coming second in the Mayor’s Choral award 2016. They narrowly beaten by the choir from St Anne’s School.

The judges were full of praise for our choir commending the student conductors and ‘student only’ accompanying band. They commented on the high quality of the three part harmonies, the blending between sections and the over joy they displayed throughout their performance. The choir received the loudest and most enthusiastic reaction from the audience but sadly the judges narrowly awarded first place to St Anne’s.  It was great evening and the Bishop Stopford’s choir will be back!

Choir practice starts again on Wednesday 13th April and new members are welcome as the choir prepare to sing at St Paul’s Cathedral on 14th June.
