Parents Letter – 2022

Dear Parent/Carers,

After an exciting week and a very positive return to school, I thought that I should update you on the school’s current Covid control measures.

Our current continuous measures are: –

 Regular hand washing
 Cleaning
 Ventilation
 Recommending using face coverings in internal communal areas (although this is not compulsory). This is under constant review as per our Covid Contingency Plan and any changes to government guidance
 Twice weekly LFD testing for staff and students conducted at home
 Not attending school if unwell and seeking a PCR test
 Regular communication with the school community on current situation
 Limiting the number of large face to face gatherings
 Encouraging vaccination for staff and students where eligible.

Please do ensure that your child collects their lateral flow tests from school, and tests regularly on a Sunday and Wednesday evening to enable us to control the virus in school.

A reminder of what to do if your child develops symptoms of COVID-19
If your child develops symptoms of COVID-19, they should remain at home for at least 10 days from the date when their symptoms appeared.
