‘The Importance of being Earnest’ – 11th July 2018

Bishop Stopfords would like to invite you to step back in time, to see the wonderful production of ‘The Importance of being Earnest’ a piece performed by our 6th form students for their A Level exam that received rapturous applause, that we felt it would be a travesty to not bring it to our main stage and to enable all that wished to, to see it. Tickets can be purchased from Miss Dorrington at the minimal cost of £2 or £1 (concessions) concessions are students or OAP’s.

Students from Bishop Stopfords will be going to visit the amazing show called ‘Wicked’ there are still limited places available, tickets are £40.00 and include transport, ticket and insurance. We look forward to enjoying a show that brings all that is magical about musicals to life, along with a moral to the story of course, learning and enjoying a true reflection of Bishop Stopfords.



Local MP Joan Ryan visited school

9On Friday 25th May our Local MP Joan Ryan visited school to meet members of Year 12 who have taken part in the Brilliant club’s Scholars Programme this year. The Brilliant club is a charity that exists to increase the number of pupils from under-represented backgrounds to progress to highly selective universities. They do this by enrolling PhD students to share their expertise with state schools as part-time tutors.
