School will restart on Monday 19th at 8:30am for staff and all Year 11 pupils.
Pupils from Year 7,8,9,10,12 and 13 will start at 9:30am.
On Wednesday 31st January our year 8 basketball team put in a wonderful performance to consolidate our basketball league position against our neighboring schools. A group of hard working and determined Yr9 girls took on a number of other schools in the borough in a netball tournament this afternoon (7th Feb).
On Tuesday 23rd January, a group of nine gifted and talented gymnasts from Carterhatch junior school cake and took part in a trampoline session run by our Yr10 students. The Yr3-5 pupils had come runners up in the Enfield Gymnastics Festival in November and their teacher wanted to inspire them further.
Safer Internet Day (SID) is organised by the joint Insafe/INHOPE network, with the support of the European Commission*, each February to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology, especially among children and young people. Celebrated on the second day of the second week of the second month, each year on Safer Internet Day millions of people unite to inspire positive change and raise awareness of online safety issues and participate in events and activities right across the globe.
Six members of Year 12 visited Robinson College, Cambridge on Wednesday 10th of January to attend the launch of the Brilliant clubs Scholars Programme. Our students will be visited in school by a PhD student over the next three months for a series of tutorials on his area of scientific research. The students had a very interesting and informative day at Cambridge and are seen here enjoying lunch in Robinson College’s dining hall.
