On the 7th of February 2019, a group of year 10 students had the opportunity to visit Oxford University – St Peter’s Campus. They were given a talk on degrees they can study, facilities and opportunities available followed by a tour of the campus. The students got to share lunch and have a chat with current Oxford students. Later on students were given a tour of Oxford and what it offered. The day ended with students doing a taster course in English where they discussed ‘should books be banned’ a very emotive subject. Students had a very enriching day and got to ask questions about Oxford University and had a taste of what University life might offer. Well done all.
Students attended were: Zara, Monica, Boran, Neo, Raymond, Grace, Rhianna, Alexander, Zayn and Elise.
