County Lines Awareness Training – Leo Powell
Leo Powell is an experienced trainer, facilitator and motivational speaker who was been invited to speak to and mentor students before at Bishop Stopford’s.  He also works as a mentor 4 days a week in Feltham Prison delivering the ‘Road lights’ Open College Networks Accreditation Programme.  He is also a volunteer youth worker at Jubilee Church. London and has been appointed by the Home Office to deliver a number of County Lines Input sessions to parents and children at a variety of locations across Enfield as a Road Show.
Leo will be coming in to school to talk to Year 7-1o students on Friday 7th February and will be discussing issues around safeguarding and County Lines.  He will also be hosting a roadshow for parents and carers on Tuesday 25th February at the school at 6.15pm and all our parents and carers are invited to attend.
Please put the date in your diary as Leo’s roadshow has been very successful in each of the school’s he has visited so far.
