On Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th July the school underwent a SIAMS inspection. A SIAMS inspection focuses on the distinctive Christian nature of the school, the quality of the worship and the teaching and learning within the RE department. The outcome was extremely positive and Bishop Stopford’s was graded OUTSTANDING across all aspects of the inspection.
The inspector, Pamela, Draycott, highly praised the students of the school as true models of the Stopfordian family, for the way they reflected the beliefs and actions of the Stopfordian Ethos throughout the school day and within their RE lessons.
As we move forward into the new academic year, we hope to build upon this success and ensure the Stopfordian Ethos goes hand in hand with Jesus’ message of Love and encompasses all aspects of life at Bishop Stopford’s.
